The indication for the use of the drug Rupafin is not smallpox. Rupafin 1 mg/ml oral solution is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis (including chronic allergic rhinitis) in children aged 2 to 11 years and urticaria in children aged 2 to 11 years. You can implement a preparation for external use, e.g. Poxclin Coolmousse foam. Poxclin Coolmousse is a foam designed to relieve itching and skin irritation in children suffering from chickenpox. The preparation contains, m.in, aloe vera gel, allantoin and chamomile extract, which soothe the skin, bring quick relief and stop the scratching reflex. It seems that the product is also safe for children under 1 year of age.
