Hello. For the child, the ENT prescribed the drug floxal and pronasal. Floxal is to be administered into the nose. Can these drugs be combined? Because I don't know if I understood the doctor correctly. Is it first pronasal and after a week floxal? A child treated for a runny nose. Thank you for your reply

There are no contraindications to the concomitant use of Pronasal and Floxal. There are no interactions between the active substances contained in them that could adversely affect their efficacy and safety. According to the official indications contained in the leaflet and the Summary of Product Characteristics of Floxal, it is a drug in the form of eye drops. The doctor, based on his own knowledge and experience, may recommend the use of the drug outside the official indications, so (the so-called off-label use), bearing responsibility for the safety of therapy.
