Should I stop the antibiotic earlier due to insufficient amount in the package?
Hi I give an 8 year old child antibiotic cetix suspension 60 ml I made it correctly I had to administer 7 days of 4 ml every 12 hours but I know that it will be missing for two doses I have to finish giving early j or buy an antibiotic please answer

If the suspension has indeed been prepared correctly and you still anticipate that the medicine will run out, you should buy another package of antibiotic - of course, after presenting the situation to the doctor and obtaining a prescription. Antibiotic suspensions are usually less efficient due to their density than the volume on the package indicates - part of the drug can settle on the bottom and walls of the bottle. It is not recommended to end the antibiotic treatment prematurely, as this may lead, for example, to a recurrence of infection.
