Appearing periodically, painless and disappearing "veins" on the breasts may be associated with the course of the menstrual cycle. They will also be more visible if the breasts are swollen or enlarged. This can occur in connection with premenstrual syndrome, pregnancy, but also when taking birth control pills. In some women, they also begin to be more pronounced with age, when the skin becomes thinner. Changes should be worrying, accompanied in particular by redness, warming, soreness or a situation in which changes also appear on the legs. This may indicate the development of venous insufficiency. If you are concerned, you should contact your gynecologist. Without a direct examination, it is difficult to assess whether the visible veins are "normal" in your individual case.
