According to the Summary of Product Characteristics: The safety of the product during pregnancy has not yet been established. Therefore, itopride hydrochloride should not be used in pregnant patients or women in whom pregnancy is not excluded, unless the benefits of treatment outweigh the potential risks. The effect of itopride hydrochloride on the course of childbirth is not known.
