Amol can be used in children over 12 years of age. Amol contains alcohol, so it should not be used in young children - in whom absorption through the skin is very intense - lubrication with an alcohol solution, e.g. Amol, can cause intoxication of the child and even alcohol poisoning. Sinecod syrup can be given to children from 3 years of age.
