Can the lower abdomen hurt after Distreptase?
Good morning. Can the stomach hurt after Distreptase? I was prescribed this drug for inflammation of hemorrhoids.

Distreptase should not cause abdominal pain, perhaps the pain has its cause in the ailment you are treating. There is no information in the Summary of Product Characteristics of Distreptaza that suppositories are intended to contribute to abdominal pain.
