Please let me know if instead of Triplixam 5mg +1.25+5 I can take Vivace 5mg. The lady in the pharmacy informed me that it was a replacement, but I have doubts.

Vivace 5 mg is not a substitute for Triplixam 5 + 1.25 + 5 mg. Both drugs are used to treat hypertension, however, they differ significantly in composition. Vivace contains ramipril - a prodrug, the active metabolite of which by reducing the formation of angiotensin II and inhibiting the breakdown of bradykinin, leads to the expansion of blood vessels. Triplixam contains as many as 3 active substances: perindopril, indapamide and amlodipine with antihypertensive effect, dilating blood vessels. The drug can be used, for example, in people in whom treatment with one substance was not effective enough.
