Should I skip a dose of Euthyrox on the day of the sugar curve test?
Hello, tomorrow I have a sugar curve test, I take every day on an empty stomach euthyrox 25. Should I take this medication before the test or is it better to let go of taking this drug before the sugar curve? Taking this drug after the test falls off because I have to drink glucose and then I will no longer be fasting. Thanks in advance for your reply

It is true that Euthyrox should be used on an empty stomach. However, the dose should not be skipped on the day of the test. It would be best to take Euthyrox just after the sugar curve test, before breakfast. Glucose may slightly reduce the absorption of Euthyrox (compared to taking the drug on an empty stomach), but it does not enter into a clinically significant interaction - the drug "will not hurt" if taken after glucose.
