If the question concerns skin point tests (so-called pric-tests), please read on, if you wanted to ask about a different type of research, please clarify the question. According to the manufacturer of the drug Singulair - antileukotriene drugs should be discontinued a week before the skin tests are performed (however, in the available literature there is no information on the effect of antileukotriene drugs on the results of skin tests). In addition to the results of tests with individual allergens, the response of the skin of the tested person to the so-called negative control (solution free of allergens) and to positive control (histamine) is also important. The results of tests with positive and negative control allow to assess the reactivity of the skin. If the result of the test with positive control (with histamine) is negative, the effect of the drugs taken by the patient on skin reactivity can be suspected and the result interpreted as false negative. In this case, I encourage you to consult your doctor, who will recommend appropriate therapeutic treatment.
