To @psychiczniechora... aware:

The lack of improvement in the control of epileptic seizures despite the use of Depakine chrono may indicate a number of factors, including that the drug was not effective in your case or that the dose was inadequate.

Irregular medication intake can lead to ineffective therapy, which can affect the frequency of attacks. Seizures that occur every 6-7 months after withdrawal may suggest that your seizures were less intense or less frequent without medication, but this does not necessarily indicate addiction. It is important to consult with a neurologist to evaluate treatment, consider other treatment options, and discuss your medication history.

I took Depakine chrono 300 as a child and the so-called epileptic seizures did not decrease. I am one of the people who took these drugs irregularly. In the hospital, I took it again as prescribed by the attending physician, and the epilepsy attacks did not decrease. When I stopped taking these medications completely, the attacks were every 6-7 months, even up to 3-4 weeks. What can this mean? It only seems to me that it is an addiction to the drug.

Depakine has not been described to cause changes in behaviour, such as increased nervousness or loss of control over one's behaviour. Nevertheless, since the body's response to treatment is very , the observed side effect is worth reporting to the doctor. Perhaps, on this basis, the doctor will decide to change the dosage of the drug or to add a drug to relieve nervousness and changes in behavior.
