You are right I will give my son one a day. He also got a zentel suspension once a day. Today I have already given him 1 tablet of 120mg. The son weighs 40 kg

The recommended dose for an adult of fexofenadine hydrochloride is 120 mg once a day, taken before a meal. So if we are talking about a 9-year-old child, I consider the administration of the drug 3x a day to be far too large. The tablet is a bi-punch, so it will be difficult to divide it. If your son is of "larger" stature, or weighs a little more than the average 9-year-old - you can try to give him 1 tablet of Telfexo during the day. If you have doubts and do not want to make a decision on your own - please contact your doctor again and discuss the problem. My son has been diagnosed with urticaria by a dermatologist and a dose of 120mg I have to give him 3 times for 1 tablet. So the doctor recommended. Isn't that too much for a 9 year old?

Was the drug prescribed to you or your son? The efficacy and safety of fexofenadine hydrochloride 120 mg in children below 12 years of age have not been established. Children aged 6 to 11 years - in this age group, the appropriate product for administration and dosage is a tablet containing 30 mg of fexofenadine hydrochloride, in the light of this information, the tablet should be divided and only then given to the child.
