Does Amlozek affect sleep and will I take it constantly?
Hello. I never had pressure, it happened once. One day I got pressure 200/110 . I was terribly scared. Studies came out wellPoza Uric acid347 umol glucose 6.28 mmol . I got Amlozek 5mg. Currently, the pressure measure is even lower than 120/80. I take once a day for the evening at 8 p.m. and terribly strongly spie, which earlier I could not sleep.. Does the drug affect such a strong sleep. Will I take it all the time

Amlozek is indicated for the treatment of high blood pressure. It works in such a way that it dilates blood vessels, facilitating blood flow. It also facilitates the delivery of blood to the heart. In some patients (not more than 1 in 10), the drug may especially at the beginning of therapy cause drowsiness as a side effect. Perhaps such an effect somehow affected the strong sleep in your case. However, it is not a hypnotic drug. Currently, the correct blood pressure results are probably due to taking the drug. It is not known what would have happened if you had not taken it. In most cases, drugs against hypertension must be taken constantly. Exceptions are situations when, for example, hypertension appeared as a result of another disease that has been cured. Perhaps, in your individual case, your doctor will decide that you can "risk" discontinuing the drug if factors such as age or health condition speak for it, but you cannot make such a decision yourself.
