Hello. Can using nexpram 15mg a day lead to serotonin syndrome? Is it too small a dose and can I feel safe :) what is the maximum daily dose of serotonin so that the syndrome does not occur? Best regards

The maximum daily dose of escitalopram is 20 mg, so you do not exceed the safe dosage range. Serotonin syndrome is a rare complication, it occurs in no more than 1 person in 1000. This syndrome is due to too much serotonin in the brain. Most often it occurs as a result of drug interactions or as a result of drug overdose. In this case, if you do not use other medicines, the risk of such an effect is low and I do not think you have cause for concern. Of course, the worrying signals should not be underestimated, however, if they appeared.
