Is it possible to stop the administration of an antibiotic after the first dose in this forfeiture?

Good morning, a 4 year old after covid, got summamed with a recommendation to turn on in case of sudden deterioration. Suddenly, he got shortness of breath, a paroxysmal cough, an antibiotic was turned on, but after a few hours it turned out that such a reaction was caused by a mascot brought from home, where there are cats. After its removal, all symptoms ceased. In this case, is it possible to stop the antibiotic after the first dose?

If the child does not have a fever or other signs of infection, the antibiotic may be discontinued.
