Hello. We got Nootropil for our son (3 years old) to improve speech. He had fluid in his ears, speech is very blurred, he is under constant speech therapy care. My question is ' will this really help him speak?'

Hello, did you give nootropics to your son? Has there been an improvement in speech development?

The medicinal product Nootropil piracetam is m.in for the treatment of dyslexic disorders in children concomitantly with speech therapy. The drug is used m.in. in children with aphasia, that is, generally speaking, problems with may. There are results of scientific studies confirming the effectiveness of this drug in the treatment of speech disorders as a supportive therapy, combined with intensive speech therapy. It is impossible to answer the question whether in the case of your son this drug will prove effective, but the results of the research, as well as the fact that this drug is recommended by pediatric neurologists to patients with speech problems, allow us to assume that this therapy can have a positive effect.
