If I am allergic to Clindamycin, can I take the antibiotic Rovamycin?

Hi if I have an allergy to the antibiotic Clindamicin or can I take the antibiotic Rovamycine the doctor did not have an entry of my last allergy and I forgot the name ... are these antibiotics completely different?

In people with hypersensitivity to clindamycin, antibiotics such as Rovamycin should be used with extreme caution. Lincosamides (e.g. Rovamycin) work similarly to macrolides (Clindamycin), so it is likely that allergy symptoms will also occur after using Rovamycin.
