I don't know for what specific indication the doctor prescribed Proursan.
In the case of dissolving cholesterol gallstones, the drug is usually taken once a day, in the evening, and in the symptomatic treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis, the drug is used in divided doses for the first 3 months, and later (depending on the results) once a day in the evening.
Your doctor may also recommend a different dosage than that described in this leaflet. If you have any doubts, I encourage you to consult your doctor again.

The manufacturer recommends that the drug be taken without chewing, washed down with the right amount of liquid. The dose should be administered once in the evening, before bedtime, preferably after a meal.
