Hello. I have been taking pregaballine for 8 months, and since the last visit half a year has passed. Is it not a long period of taking the drug, because the effects of treatment are rather small (I treat pain and dretnia and lack of sensation of the left foot). I have a lot of side effects. Erection, concentration, memory, poor vision. Should I change my medication?

The period of treatment with pregabalin can be several months if the patient's state of health requires it. This is decided by the doctor, taking into account the ailments that occur. If you have side effects that hinder normal functioning, this should prompt you to immediately consult a doctor who, based on the information provided to him, will decide whether it is necessary to change the therapy, especially if you communicate that "the effects of treatment are rather small". Please note that side effects of medicines should be reported to your doctor or individually. By reporting side effects, you help other patients, including your loved ones, who may also need the same medicine one day. This step also allows you to gather more information on the safety of medicinal products and update data on them.
