The upper allowable daily dose of vitamin D3 for children aged 1-10 years is 2000 U. According to the guidelines, children under 10 years of age should not exceed this dose, so it will be safer to use a dose of 1500 U for a long time. During the treatment, e.g. after 2 months, it is worth checking the level of vitamin D3 again. The doctor will be able to decide on the basis of repeated determinations whether dosage adjustment is necessary.
