My mother 83 years old has sciatica, the neurologist prescribed duloxetine 30 on. 2 months. I have been taking the drug for 6 weeks I have observed that the lack of memory has increased. Can it stop without the control of a neurologist?

I can't find any information that duloxetine can cause memory impairment or cognitive function. Sometimes it can cause sedation (sedation) or concentration disorders. Both discontinuation of the drug and the observed deterioration of memory should be consulted with a doctor. If the doctor decides that the therapy should be discontinued, then - depending on the amount of medicine currently being taken - he may recommend reducing the dose for at least 2 weeks.
