I suppose that when you write that you have "everything Esperal" you meant that you have a "sewn- in" product containing disulfiram to treat alcohol disease (the drug under the name Esperal is no longer available in Poland). If so, please read on. Sewing tablets with disulfiram causes that in the case of ethyl alcohol consumption, there is an increase in the concentration of acetaldehyde in the body and the occurrence of symptoms of poisoning with this compound. These symptoms include, but are not limited to: nausea, vomiting, tachycardia (feeling of palpitations), hypotension, dizziness, sudden redness of the face with a feeling of heat. During the period of treatment with disulfiram, there is an absolute ban on the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Failure to follow these recommendations may result in life-threatening symptoms. Symptoms of alcohol intolerance can occur even after the use of alcohol-containing liquids such as "mouthwashes, sauces, vinegar, antitussive syrups, warm-ups, aftershave and other alcohol-containing cosmetics" or after contact with organic solvents containing alcohol. If you have drunk alcohol and you feel unwell about it, it will be advisable to contact a doctor. I enclose additional information:
