Is it normal that when using Pregabalin and Asentra I am dumbed down, confused, my heart knocks and my hands tremble?
Hi since yesterday I take pregabalin 75mg I have to take twice a day in the morning and in the evening to this doctor also przelisal me asertin 50 once a day, I feel a little muffled, confused so strangely, my heart knocks every now and then and all the time my hands tremble. Is this normal? When will it disappear? I wrote to the doctor who prescribed it but did not answer me

Good morning. Psychiatrists do not protect the patient against such effects in 90%, although they can! Doses of these drugs should be increased gradually over about 3 to 4 weeks to prevent this type of ailment. If the target dose was 50mg, you should take 1/4 of the dose for a week, then 1\2 of the dose, etc.
Pregabalin is not so "mean" at first, but I would also recommend starting with 50mg a day for a week, 100mg for the next and only 3 x 75mg ultimately.
NOTE: for this discontinuation of pregabalin should be spread over at least a month (gradually reducing the dose every week) or even 2-3 months with long or high doses. Otherwise, this drug can be quite mistreating. Best regards. Andrew.

Łączenie tych leków może prowadzić do tego typu działań niepożądanych, zwłaszcza w początkowym okresie leczenia. Jeśli symptomy nie ustąpią po ok. 2 tygodniach terapii - należy skonsultować się z lekarzem, poinformować o skutkach ubocznych, wówczas specjalista może zdecydować o zmianie sposobu leczenia.
W takim wypadku warto również regularnie - dwa razy dziennie kontrolować wartości ciśnienia oraz pulsu - jeśli wartości te będą poniżej normy, warto przedyskutować z lekarzem zmianę sposobu dawkowania leków.
