Can I combine Supremin and Erdomed, or should I consult my doctor again?

Hello, for 5 days I have a persistent, dry cough, which is especially tiring at night. 5 days ago, the doctor recommended taking Supremin Max syrup, 3 times a day for 15 ml. Due to the fact that since last night it is very rare, but still happens to spit green secretions, and the cough still seems to be dry, I went to another doctor for consultation and he prescribed me Erdomed in capsules and ordered me to take it together with Supremin Max syrup ... I'm just wondering if these drugs are not mutually exclusive? Supermin is a syrup for dry cough and Erdomed supposedly facilitates expectoration of secretions... Should I consult my doctor again?
