Preparat Flixonase Nasule może być stosowany u pacjentów poniżej 16 roku życia wyłącznie po konsultacji z lekarzem, gdyż bezpieczeństwo i skuteczność działania leku u młodszych dzieci nie została potwierdzona w badaniach. Jeśli jednak doświadczenie lekarza pokazuje, że lek jest skuteczny u małych pacjentów, można go zastosować poza wskazaniami, czyli "off-label":
