Does Erdomed have a stronger effect than Emska Salt?
What is the difference between Erdomed and Emska salt? I noticed that after 2 days of taking Edromed I have a problem with tickling in my throat and coughing making it difficult for me to fall asleep - I take Erdomed until 4 p.m. Does Emska salt work milder but the same?

I have been using emska salt for years and I think it is the best remedy for mainly wet cough and removal of secretions. It does not work like other pharmacy preparations, after which there is a very persistent cough, especially at night. Emska salt can be drunk before bedtime, just in the morning we will clear everything that was left behind and regain our voice. After medication, we cough for a long time and the discharge is torn off gradually and it takes a very long time.

Oba preparaty mają podobne wskazania do stosowania, jednak odmienne mechanizmy działania.
Sól Emska działa wykrztuśnie i alkalizująco - pobudza wydzielanie śluzu w drogach oddechowych i ułatwia odkrztuszanie poprzez upłynnianie zalegającej wydzieliny.
Erdomed to lek mukolityczny - powoduje upłynnienie i zmniejszenie lepkości śluzu w drogach oddechowych poprzez rozrywanie mostków dwusiarczkowych w mukoproteinach. Jednocześnie poprawia się transport rzęskowy śluzu.
Choć oba leki stosowane są kaszlu mokrym, Erdomed ma bardziej złożony mechanizm działania i w dużym skrócie można przyznać, iż ma silniejsze działanie, niż Sól Emska.
