Lek lactovaginal nie powinien wpływać na skuteczność prezerwatyw.
Zaleca się ograniczenia współżycia seksualnego podczas stosowania leków dopochwowych ( w tym globulek, kapsułek, kremów) z powodu obniżenia ich skuteczności. Powodem jest zmniejszenie dawki leku podczas penetracji, narażenia na otarcia i uszkodzenia śluzówki.
