Wait for improvement, increase the dose or change the drug if I do not see improvement after 3 months?
I take citalopram 10 mg for about 3 months and I don't see much improvement. Sometimes I sleep better and my mood after taking the drug is a little better, more muted. But I still wake up at night, I have no desire to live and I'm chronically tired all the time and I have migraines, I can't focus on anything, my memory is also bad and my fears are usually morning and evening. Wait for improvement, increase the dose or change the drug?

Leki zawierające citalopram działają po upływie 2 tygodni, czasami dłużej. Substancja ta po upływie 4 tygodni powinna już w pełni działać u wszystkich pacjentów.
Jeśli po upływie 3 miesięcy stosowania nie widzi Pani poprawy stanu zdrowia, a wręcz odwrotnie, powinno skłonić to Panią do konsultacji z lekarzem.
Nie wolno na własną rękę zwiększać dawki leków na receptę. Wszystkie leki psychiatryczne wydawane są z przepisu lekarza, więc nie zmieni Pani leku bez konsultacji z lekarzem.
