W trakcie stosowania leku Setaloft nie należy spożywać alkoholu. Jeżeli napój (piwo bezalkoholowe) jest faktycznie bez alkoholu (niektóre napoje oznakowane jako "bezalkoholowe" zawierają do 0,5% alkoholu, ponieważ zezwala na to prawo - warto zwrócić uwagę), to nie powinien zaburzać działania leków czy wywoływać działań niepożądanych, ponieważ składnikiem wchodzącym w interakcję lub powodującym skutki uboczne jest przede wszystkim etanol, a nie woda, składnik słodzące czy aromatyzujące napój.
