How to stop Faxolet ER gradually and slowly?
Hello. Faxolet 150mg has been used for quite a long time. I started with a dose of 37.5 mg. I feel good. I would like to discontinue the medicine but I know that abrupt discontinuation of the drug can be unfavorable, i.e. there may be signs of discontinuation of the drug. This medicine is weaned slowly and gradually. Unfortunately, my psychiatrist has a free appointment in July. Bardo please answer how to discontinue the drug gradually and slowly? Thank you and greet.

For discontinuation, the doctor prescribes half a dose of the drug for several weeks. And then it halves it even more. If 75mg is not tolerated well in the first weeks, you can also add half of half, i.e. 37.5mg. Each of these doses is prescription .
