Up to @Tata:

If melatonin has been prescribed by a specialist doctor (neurospeech therapist and psychiatrist), its use in a 4-year-old child with autism and ADHD is possible – of course, according to the doctor's dosage recommendations. The doctor has the right to use the drug on the basis of his or her best knowledge and experience, and not on the basis of the manufacturer's indications. It is also a common practice.

Melatonin is sometimes used as an adjunct in the regulation of sleep rhythm in children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Although Melatonin Lekam is intended for patients over 18 years of age according to the manufacturer's recommendations, with the consent of the caregiver/parent, this drug is often included in treatment due to its beneficial therapeutic effect.

It is important to follow the recommended dose and administer it at a fixed time, preferably about 30 minutes before bedtime.

This is the drug prescribed to us by a neurologist and psychiatrist, a child 4 years old, autism + adhd, so the pharmacist has no idea what she is writing ....
