Although it is an over-the-counter drug, the decision to start therapy should be made by your doctor. Acard has acetylsalicylic acid in small doses. This drug has an anticoagulant effect because it inhibits the clumping (aggregation) of platelets. It is intended for long-term, prophylactic use in diseases that threaten the formation of blood clots and blockages in blood vessels. The fact that your doctor has recommended the use of Acard to your friends does not mean that you should also use it. If the blood density is normal and if the risk of thromboembolic events is low in you, then there is no need to use this drug. Not everyone can use it, so you should not take it without consulting a doctor. I think it is worth talking about it with a doctor who will certainly look at your blood test results and assess whether in your case the use of Acard is necessary and safe. There are no confirmed reports that indicate that the use of Acard in any way alleviates the course of covid-19 disease. The use of Acard is also not related to vaccination against Covid-19 (or at least so far such a relationship has not been confirmed). I am glad that you are asking such questions, but please do not suggest so much the opinions of your friends. Drug matters should always be consulted primarily with a doctor and pharmacist. Just because a drug is effective in one person doesn't mean it will be effective in another. It can even harm another person! Everyone should be treated individually, with drugs selected by a specialist.
