How do I give a 0.5 mg dose if I have an Ozempic 1 mg pen?

I have a pack of Ozempic 1 mg ie 4 doses with 4 needles. I have to take 0.5 at a time. Does this mean that I should take half of the pen once a week? If there is 1 mg in the pen, half of the content will be the dose for me that I should take a week? Unfortunately, in this variant of the drug 1 mg I do not know how to divide it because there are no numbers clearly determining the amount of the drug and only dashes, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DIVIDE IT SO THAT IT WAS 0.5

Hello. I have a similar case. The doctor showed me on the esyrzykiwaz how to count the lines to 0.5. I'm supposed to move it by 8 bars. Only tomorrow he will try it out.

You can divide the dose of 1mg into 4 and have 0.25mg per 16 times, including only that after 6 weeks the expiry date expires. I had 0.25 for the first month, it came out 6 times 0.25. In the second month I had 0.5, it was optically identical to 0.25, I could make 4 injections of 0.5 or 8 x 0.25 from it. A 1mg injection is already optically twice as large. The doctor didn't want to prescribe me 1mg from the beginning to divide it because he said it would expire. It's the same drug just different in size. If I bought 1mg at once and divided it, I would save 600 PLN.

Count how many clicks per dose of 1 ml. Divide by 2. And make as many silks as you get. For example, 1 ml needs 74 clicks, and 0.5 ml needs 37 clicks.

Quite simply, 72 clicks when setting correspond to 1mg of active ingredient, so 36 clicks are 0.5mg. I do it that way, because I prefer to inject 2 times a week because my blood pressure drops too far. Sterile needles are available in the pharmacy. The ones for insulin pens fit.

A wonderful good day Antonazzo Rocco my name I have question for you how many clicks do I have to mack at Ozempic 0.5 mg ?

Лана (Anonymous, 178.51.113.) 5 months ago

One injection of 1 million is enough for 4 weeks or 4 times. This means that 0.5 will be enough for you for 8 weeks. There are 4 servings in one injection. 72 clicks per 1 serving-1 mlg. For 0.5, you need 36 clicks.

There is a click/dose table

Annna (Anonymous, 185.175.106.) 8 months ago

I got 288 for 1 penea, I think it's 72 cliks for 1 mg, x4 weeks = 288
0.5 mg 36cliks 288/36- 8 weeks Those who do not know what ozempic is used for, I recommend not to take part in a discussion such as that it is only a drug for diabetics... because in a moment it may turn out that you will treat yourself with this drug. Ps I'll check on the next pen if it's really different, if the result would be different, I'll write

Ricou (Anonymous, 92.184.102.) 12 months ago

This ozempic is much more useful for diabetics who are sick than for those who want to lose weight or lose a bone... those who want to lose weight just have to eat less... leave this product to the sick and not to those who find curves... now the sick don't have any more... Is it clever!!

Snoopy 70 (Anonymous, 80.145.164.) 14 months ago

According to my doctor, it takes 37 clicks to have the dose of 0.5 mg.

Monika (Anonymous, 109.231.1.) 1 year ago

Ok, how many clicks do I do on 0.5 to be enough for 8 weeks, if a total of 72 clicks in pen?
You write that the 0.5 is 36 clicks-once ???

Jola (Anonymous, 31.135.24.) 1 year ago

You have to set 36 clicks. Then the dose of 0.5 will come out.

marzwe (Anonymous, 37.248.157.) 2 years ago

For 6 weeks you can give 7 doses because the first one is just starting the countdown, i.e. the 7th dose will be taken after 6 weeks

For @MaKu: Physically there are 8 doses in the pen, however, due to the durability of the drug, only 6 of them can be used.

MaKu (Anonymous, 188.121.22.) 2 years ago

The manufacturer clearly indicates that the pen should be discarded after 6 weeks. So when dividing the drug into 1mg into 0.5 doses, do we actually have 8 doses or 6, because there is no guarantee that the drug in the last two doses is effective. Or is there information somewhere that this deadline can be extended..?
