Is it possible to drink alcohol while taking Nimesil?

If I took Nimesil at 10 p.m., can I drink a small amount of alcohol at 24? On the leaflet he does not write anything about interaction with alcohol.

As with other medicines belonging to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), alcohol consumption should be avoided while taking Nimesil due to the increased risk of irritating effects on the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract. You can read more about the interaction of drugs with alcohol in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-mozna-laczyc-leki-z-alkoholem I encourage you to watch our short video:

To @Ashaa:

Mixing Nimesil with alcohol such as beer can be dangerous, and taking a large amount of Nimesil can be harmful to your health. .

Nimesil is a pain reliever and anti-inflammatory drug, and alcohol can increase the risk of side effects. Alcohol consumption while taking Nimesil may increase the risk of damage to the mucous membranes of the stomach and intestines, which can lead to stomach ulcers, bleeding or perforation. Both nimesulide and alcohol can irritate the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, and their simultaneous use may increase this risk.

Second, nimesulide and alcohol can also affect liver function. Nimesulide is metabolized by the liver, similar to alcohol. Combined, these substances can put a strain on the liver and increase the risk of damage to the organ.

According to the summary of product characteristics for Nimesil, the toxic dose is not precisely determined, but there is a risk of serious adverse reactions if the amount is taken higher than recommended. It is recommended to take Nimesil for the shortest possible period (no more than 15 days), at an adult dose of a maximum of 100 mg (1 sachet) 2 times a day. Taking so much Nimesil at one time can be harmful to your health and lead to serious side effects. .

It is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment with Nimesil and to consult your doctor in case of any doubts or worrying symptoms.

According to current medical literature, there should be no harmful interactions between Colchicum dispert drugs with Nimesil or Tramal retard. In the case of an acute attack of arthritis, it is necessary to urgently contact a doctor who will assess whether the cause of the ailment is gout (similar symptoms may occur in the course of other diseases, e.g. in joint infection) and apply appropriate treatment. Ice packs can also bring relief, it is also recommended to immobilize the affected joint (after the acute symptoms disappear, you should return to normal activity and rehabilitation exercises).
