To @Asia:
After spinal surgery, especially when using pain medications, it is important to discontinue them in a controlled manner to avoid unwanted side effects such as pressure spikes.
As a pharmacist, I can only give you a general withdrawal regimen:
1. Consult a doctor: Whenever you have the opportunity, contact a doctor, discuss your symptoms and get personalized recommendations.
If you need more personalized advice, you can use teleconsultations here:

1. Reduce your dose: If you have been taking 4.5 tablets a day, reduce your dose by 10-25% each week. You can start with half a tablet in the morning and a quarter in the evening, and then gradually lower to lower doses.
2. Monitoring symptoms: Keep an eye out for any changes in how you feel, including your blood pressure. Blood pressure spikes can be the result of stopping medication too quickly, but they can also be caused by other factors.
Many people probably have the same problem .... I have had spinal surgery. In total, I took Dorete 75+650 for 7 months, on average 4.5 tablets (1.5 tablets 3 times a day). For a week, I reduced the dose until I got to half a tablet in the morning and a quarter in the evening. The last dose is Friday morning, today is Tuesday. Yesterday afternoon my blood pressure was jumping and I don't suffer from hypertension. I wonder if I stopped taking the drug too quickly and the blood pressure spikes are the result of this. I didn't have any diarrhea, tremors, sweating, etc. I want to stop taking them once and for all, because the pain is no longer bothersome. I can't find any specific information on how to gradually stop taking the pills. Could I ask for information on what the weaning regimen should be? My GP is on holiday and I can't get advice. Please let me know if blood pressure spikes, in addition to other symptoms, can be the cause of too rapid withdrawal. Thank you very much in advance for the information
It's been a while since the question above, but I prefer to ask every person who is tired of this supposedly great drug and maybe somehow I'll find the answer because I'm struggling with the same problem. Muscle and joint pain appeared. Please, maybe someone can write back how they dealt with it. Ms. Ania wrote 4 months ago this is a better chance for an answer
