Why is Wegovy not working for me after 2 months and could it have affected my immune system?

Wegovy (semaglutide) can work with a delay, and the weight loss effects are usually seen after a few months. After two months of taking Wegova, not every person notices significant weight loss – it often takes more time for full effects, and the drug is most effective when combined with a healthy diet and physical activity.

In about 10-20% of people, the drug does not bring the expected results despite following all the recommendations, which is due to the different individual response of the body.

Wegovy does not interfere with immunity, and studies even indicate a slight anti-inflammatory effect of the drug and a reduction in the risk of serious infections. If the lack of effects persists, I suggest talking to your doctor – it may be advisable to change the dose, diagnose more broadly or consider other methods of therapy.
