Why does my head burn as if it burns? I have been prescribed treatment and kich, reducing, neurotop300 retard, introduction slowly with lamileot and lavericetam we go down. A feeling of hot burning in the head?will it go away, why is this happening??? sometimes shakes.calms down

Burning and a feeling of heat in the head may be a symptom of side effects of antiepileptic drugs, especially during their introduction or discontinuation.
Neurotope (carbamazepine), Lamilept (lamotrigine) and Lavericetam (levetiracetam) can affect the nervous system and cause such symptoms, especially if dosages are changed. This feeling should subside as the treatment stabilizes, but if the symptoms worsen or tremors appear, it is worth consulting a neurologist urgently. Please do not stop taking medication on your own – all changes should be carried out under the supervision of a doctor.
