Belogent is indicated for complicated bacterial infections of the skin. The drug should not be applied to damaged skin (risk of systemic side effects).

Treatment of pressure ulcers is a complicated procedure that requires the involvement of specialists in the field of wound treatment and the use of specialized dressings (available at the pharmacy). I do not recommend applying Belogent to bedsores on your own. A better solution is to clean the wound and implement absorbent/foam dressings that isolate the diseased tissue and accelerate the healing process. Black-coloured lesions indicate the development of necrosis. Wound exudate does not necessarily mean bacterial infection. Recommended specifics for disinfecting bedsores are, for example, Microdacin liquid. Ointments that can be used in case of suspected superinfection are, for example, Sutriheal forte.
