Last Thursday, she had the first injection of 2.5 . So far, I have not felt any side effects or effects of this drug, i.e. reduced appetite. Is this normal?

During all three weeks, my appetite is reduced, it's not that I don't want to eat, but there is no feeling of all-devouring hunger. Probably, everything is individual. For 3 weeks so far -3200gr. But I go to the gym 4 times a week for training.

Not all patients experience discomfort while taking Mounjaro. The mechanism of action of the drug is to increase the body's sensitivity to insulin and increase the sensitivity of pancreatic cells to glucose. An additional "side effect" is a delay in gastric emptying, which patients experience as an increase in satiety after a meal and a reduction in the feeling of hunger. I suggest continuing to use the drug according to medical recommendations. A starting dose of 2.5 may not result in the intended weight loss (target dose is 15 mg).
