Hello, can I combine Salazopyrin EN with Anaprene and Moilec? And also with Apap and Tabcin? Not all at once, of course, but depending on the type and cause of pain (Anaprene or Moilec - occasionally, for muscle pain in addition to RA, for which I am currently taking chronic Salazopyrin EN, Apap - occasionally, for headaches, Tabcin - occasionally for infections).

Salazopyrin can be combined with analgesics and antipyretics containing paracetamol (Apap, Tabcin), but only temporarily, for the shortest possible time and in the smallest possible doses.
Chronic use of paracetamol with Salazopyrin can, m.in, decrease the number of white and red blood cells, which manifests itself as significant weakness, pallor or yellowing of the mucous membranes and skin, palpitations, and even fainting. Therefore, this combination can only be used for a short period of time - e.g. 2-3 days. Since Apap and Tabcin contain the same active substance, they should not be used on the same day or interchangeably, e.g. 3 days of Apap, then 3 days of Tabcin - then the side effects described above may occur.

Similarly with Anapran and Moilec - both belong to the same chemical group, i.e. non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), so they should not be combined. However, there is less risk of possible side effects when combining these drugs with Salazopyrin.

Perhaps a good solution would be to completely give up paracetamol-based drugs during treatment with Salazopyrin (unless otherwise recommended by a doctor) or reduce its use to the necessary minimum.

In case of a headache or cold, you can include a drug from the NSAID group, e.g. the aforementioned Anapran or Moilec. These drugs have analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. They relieve headache and symptoms of infection, such as fever, muscle pain, etc.
