An exist is a drug that contains pregabalin, a derivative of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). Indications for its use include epilepsy (combined treatment of partial seizures), neuropathic pain (peripheral and central origin) and generalized anxiety disorder. It is a prescription drug, so a doctor should decide on the legitimacy and safety of its use in each case.

Hypertension is not a contraindication to the use of the drug. However, pregabalin may cause vascular disorders including hypotension or hypertension uncommonly (in ≥1/1,000 to <1/100 patients). Not everyone will experience such symptoms, it depends on the individual reaction of the body. If you are being treated for high blood pressure, tell your doctor. If your doctor prescribes you pregabalin and you notice abnormalities in your blood pressure measurements during use, you should consult him. If necessary, the doctor will make changes in therapy, e.g. adjust the dose of medication or change the treatment strategy .
