Hello, today I finished taking Biseptol, unfortunately I got my huge mycosis. My doctor prescribed me Fluconazole. Should I take a day off before taking Fluconazole? And can Fluconazole be taken with cancer that causes myasthenic symptoms?

Usually, there is no need to break between the end of Biseptol therapy and the start of Fluconazole, but it is advisable to keep at least a few hours apart to avoid adverse interactions or strain on the body.
Fluconazole is also used in patients with cancer, including those treated with cytotoxic or immunosuppressive drugs, which means that its use in this case is possible under medical supervision.
As for myasthenic symptoms - Fluconazole is not contraindicated directly in myasthenia gravis, but due to the complexity of the disease and possible drug interactions, the decision to use it should be made by the attending physician who knows the full clinical picture of the patient. During treatment with Fluconazole, liver function should be monitored and any adverse reactions, especially skin reactions or signs of liver injury, observed.
