Theoretically, Sumamed should not cause the symptoms described above, although taking antibiotics is fraught with gastrointestinal disorders, most often manifested by diarrhea, bloating, nausea and abdominal pain. If the problem occurs for the first time when you start treatment, contact your doctor immediately. Fresh blood in the stool is usually associated with the presence of, for example, hemorrhoids, while occult blood may indicate a more serious problem in the intestines and stomach. In this case, it is worth performing diagnostic tests such as colonoscopy and gastroscopy.
