Good morning
I have a question whether pregabalin (Pregabalin Accord 75mg 1 tablet once every 12h) affects the effectiveness of Vibin mini contraception?
In the leaflet I found information that antiepileptic drugs can affect the effectiveness of Vibin mini contraception, but the pregabalin itself was not mentioned there.
Besides that, I also take Alvente 75mg 1x a day.
Thank you in advance for your reply.

Pregabalin does not affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill. The ingredients of Vibin mini tablets do not interact clinically relevant with pregabalin and protection is maintained.
Alventa also does not affect the effect of Vibin mini tablets.
Antidepressants and drugs supporting the treatment of depression that may affect the effectiveness of oral contraception include, m.in, St. John's wort extract, carbamazepine, phenytoin, barbiturates, oxcarbazepine, topiramate (in high doses), lamotrigine.
You can combine Pregabalin and Alventa with Vibin mini and the protection will be maintained.
