The combined use of the above drugs should be preceded by a medical consultation. The dosage of the preparations should be recommended by the attending physician.
Both antibiotics: Biseptol (trimethoprim with sulfamethoxazole) and Duomox (amoxicillin) act on bacteria, but they belong to different groups, so combining them may be recommended in some clinical situations, but increases the risk of side effects and difficulties in assessing the causes of possible side effects.
