Did the Rectodelt suppository given to a 5-month-old baby manage to absorb if the child pooped about 30 minutes after administration?

Good morning
We were prescribed Rectodelt 1x1 suppositories, I gave the baby (5 months) a suppository, and about 30 minutes after the administration he pooped. Did it manage to be absorbed? Should I repeat the dose tomorrow?

Rectal suppositories, such as Rectodelt, are usually absorbed quite quickly, often within several minutes, so the drug has managed to start working despite a bowel movement after 30 minutes. In this situation, there is no need to administer another dose earlier than recommended.

However, if you are in doubt about the effectiveness of your dose or your child's symptoms, it is best to consult your doctor before repeating the dose. The dose is usually repeated once a day.
