Good afternoon! I am allergic to NSAIDs, expressed by attacks of bronchial asthma. After the administration of OEKOLP forte cream, bronchial spasm and frequent urination began. Can this drug have such side effects?

Oekolp forte is a preparation containing estriol, mainly used to treat menopausal symptoms and vaginal atrophy. The most common side effects include local irritation, breast pain, nausea or changes in bleeding, while bronchospasm is not a typical side effect of this drug.
However, in people with bronchial hyperresponsiveness or a tendency to allergic reactions, any new substance, including topical use, can cause a hypersensitivity reaction, including bronchospasm. Frequent urination can be both a side effect of estrogen therapy and result from irritation of the urinary tract, which is described in the context of the drug's action on the vaginal mucosa and urethra. If you experience such symptoms, I recommend stopping using the cream and consulting a doctor immediately.
