Can I have unprotected sex before using Colpofix if I am allergic to latex?
I am using Colpofix and my doctor said that I can have unprotected sex with my boyfriend due to the fact that I am alergic to latex. Is it ok to have sex before I apply Colpofix?

If your doctor has consented to unprotected intercourse due to latex allergy, you can have sex, but it is best to avoid intercourse just before applying Colpofix so as not to hinder the proper distribution and action of the gel.
The manufacturer does not provide direct contraindications to intercourse before the first application, but recommends caution throughout the therapy so as not to interfere with the healing process and the action of the preparation. Please remember that each clinical situation is individual and it is worth following the recommendations of your attending physician.
