Aspicam belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that can cause irritation of the stomach and gastrointestinal tract. If abdominal pain is observed during Aspicam treatment, PPIs can be implemented as a protective drug. Anti-inflammatory drugs should be used for as short a time as possible in the lowest acting doses. Long-term use of protective drugs (such as PPIs) has adverse effects on digestion and gastrointestinal function.
