When you visit your dentist, tell them that you are taking Prolia. In rare cases, osteonecrosis of the jaw may occur with Prolia. Therefore, during therapy, it is important to take care of proper oral hygiene and perform regular dental check-ups.
You should also immediately report any disturbing symptoms that occur in the oral cavity, i.e. tooth mobility, pain or swelling, unhealed ulcers or oozing lesions.
During treatment, invasive dental procedures should only be performed after careful consideration. Prolia should be avoided in the near term.
